On 10 September 2024, the UK Government announced that all visitors to the UK, except British and Irish nationals, will need travel authorisation (ETA) to travel to the UK. From 27 November 2024, non-EU passport holders can apply for an ETA to travel to the UK from 08 January 2025. ETAs will then extend to EU passport holders from 05 March 2025, to travel to the UK from 02 April 2025. This digital visa, similar to the American Esta, will cost £10 (around €12). The ETA will be valid for several trips over a two-year period and will allow people to stay for up to six months on each visit.
BSP advised Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL) and Banque et Caisse d'Epargne de l'Etat, Luxembourg (BCEE) on a financing provided to partially finance the acquisition of Lemanik Asset Management by affiliates of BlackFin Capital Partners. The acquisition was mainly financed through equity provided by BlackFin Capital Partners with part of the purchase price being financed through a Luxembourg law financing.

Luxembourg, 10 March 2025 – Festival Events Asbl today announced the launch of the 16th British & Irish Film Festival Luxembourg 2025 Spring Edition: most screenings will be held at Ciné Utopia, with the Shorts Evening at the Cinémathèque. While the core festival dates are from 22 – 29 March, we are having two other screenings before these dates. The film festival provides a unique opportunity for viewers to experience a wide selection of new films from Britain and Ireland.

On Tuesday 11 February 2025, the British Chamber of Commerce for Luxembourg (BCC), in partnership with Deloitte Luxembourg, hosted an event at the firm’s premises in Luxembourg-Gasperich. Entitled "2025 UK & LUX Hot Tax Topics”, the event saw three guest speakers from Deloitte provide information regarding key UK tax changes announced by the new UK Labour Government and provided updates regarding recent Luxembourg tax changes, as well as information on anticipated developments due in the years ahead.
