Global law firm Ashurst has bolstered its banking and finance offering with the promotion of Katia Fettes to partner in the global loans team, based in Luxembourg, with effect from 1 May 2024. Katia is one of a 30-strong global cohort of new partners – a record number of promotions for the firm for the third year running.
Katia joined Ashurst as a senior associate in Luxembourg in 2021. She specialises in banking and finance transactions, with a particular focus on acquisition finance, real estate finance as well as fund finance mandates. Katia also advises on a wide range of capital markets transactions, ranging from bond issues to structured finance matters, and is the main contact in Luxembourg for securitisation transactions.
