The partners of BONN & SCHMITT are pleased to announce the addition of a new partner, Bart VERMAAT,
Attorney at Law at the Luxembourg Bar.

Mr VERMAAT has significant experience in the Luxembourg banking and financial sector. For more than 14 years, he has continued to assist both domestic and international clients in debt transactions with a particular focus on real estate finance, asset finance, fund finance, as well as leveraged finance and margin lending. He also has considerable expertise in restructuring and insolvency matters, including the consensual and non-consensual enforcement of security interests, securitization matters, debt issuances and crypto-assets.

He will co-lead the banking department of the firm with Françoise PFEIFFER.

Prior to joining BONN & SCHMITT, Bart VERMAAT worked in a top-tier international law firm in Luxembourg. His arrival strengthens the firm’s expertise in the banking and finance sphere, which is of key importance to the Luxembourg financial sector.
